The headband is elastic and adjustable, giving a snug fit without putting excessive pressure on the top of the head. The over-ear cups have a soft fabric finish, which is breathable and pleasant on the skin. For someone like me, who often forgets to take breaks, this is a huge plus.

Aesthetic-wise, the headset looks sleek and modern. The black matte finish combined with subtle ASUS branding makes it look premium without being flashy. The RGB lighting is customizable via ASUS Aura Sync, allowing me to personalize the headset to match my setup.

Audio Performance 🔊

This is where the ASUS ROG Pelta truly shines. Equipped with 50mm titanium-plated drivers, the audio quality is crisp, immersive, and rich. During FPS games like Valorant, I could hear every footstep, reload, and environmental cue clearly, which made tracking enemies much easier. In Apex Legends, the soundstage was wide, making it easy to locate teammates and opponents.

The bass is deep without being overpowering, mids are clear, and highs are sharp but not harsh. I tested the headset with different genres of music as well – from EDM to classical – and it handled all of them impressively. The titanium-plated drivers really make a difference; even subtle sounds come through with incredible clarity.

The super-wideband detachable microphone is a game-changer for me. During team play, my friends commented that my voice sounded crystal clear and natural, even with background noises in my room. The mic is flexible, easy to position, and has a sturdy build.

The Pelta boasts up to 70 hours of battery life, which is insane for a wireless gaming headset. I charged it fully and used it for multiple sessions over several days, and the battery barely dropped. Even with RGB lighting on, I could comfortably get 60–65 hours.

Quick charging is also a huge plus. Just 15 minutes of charging gives me 3 hours of gameplay, which is perfect when I forget to charge it overnight. I never had to pause my gaming sessions because of battery issues, which is a big relief.

I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Pelta for about two weeks, and it has quickly become my favorite headset. Here’s what stood out for me:

• Sound quality: Incredible clarity, excellent bass, and precise positional audio. FPS gaming feels more immersive, and team communication is flawless.
• Connectivity: Switching between PC, console, and mobile is seamless. Low latency ensures a competitive edge.
• Battery: 70 hours is more than enough for daily gaming and streaming sessions.

Minor downsides I noticed:

• Slight pressure on very large heads after extended sessions.
• RGB lighting reduces battery slightly if used continuously.
• No active noise cancellation, so some external noise can filter in.

Overall, the headset feels premium, even though it’s priced mid-range. Compared to other headsets I’ve used in the $100–$150 range, this one punches above its weight in comfort, sound quality, and versatility.
